This time you've gone to far

And I all have to say about this was expressed so well in the chorus of Cake's, Nugget. Search it out, it is worth it.

Bailey:

“The problem is that the beer fridges are mostly decades-old machines that began their second careers as beverage dispensers when Canadians upgraded to more energy-efficient models to store whatever Canadians eat besides doughnuts and poutine.”

I don’t know if that’s tongue in cheek or not.

The Facks Are In:

It’s already been determined that the worst destroyers of the environment are leftie tree huggers using tons of jet fuel to take eco-vacations in faraway places. Perhaps on their next winter break they should do the planet a favour and buy a beer fridge, stock it with their beverage of choice, and watch nature documentary DVDs or whatever turns their crank.

And of course they would have more money to buy newer, more efficient beer fridges if only the goddam government wasn’t taking so much goddam money away from them and spending it on goddam stupid “eco” projects.

Shaun M.:

I loled. You can tell this article was written with tongue firmly in cheek and probably the only person who didn’t recognize that was the ‘scientist’.
